THE EVENTS:

The three rides will start and finish at St. Martin’s Square, Basildon Town Centre on Sunday 20th May 2012.
The 40 mile and the 20 mile Mountain Bike Rides will start at 10.30am and the Fun Ride will start at 11.00am.

SPONSORSHIP:

Our main source of funds comes from you the entrants because we ask each cyclist to obtain sponsorship. Download the

ENTRANTS:
|
|
|
|
Mountain Bike Ride: Entrants must be 14 years or older and a fee of £15.00 is charged for each entrant.
Riders aged 14 to 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult and wear a cycle helmet.
Fun Ride: Entrants can be of any age but children 14 years and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult
and wear a cycle helmet. Family entry (up to 2 adults & 2 children) £15.00. Children: PLEASE get sponsored!

TRAINING RIDES:
|
|
|
To help you prepare for the challenge, we will once again be working with Trailnet to organise
training rides for you to build up your fitness, check out your bike,
see some of the course and to get some tips on how to ensure you get through the ride.

BIKE HIRE:

|
|
Don't have a suitable bike but would like to take part?
Trailnet have a range of suitable, good quality bikes, including tandems,
available for hire on the day and even over the weeks leading up to the ride.
Pre-booking is essential.
